Us Danes take the summer fairly seriously, actually strike that, we take it extremely seriously. Why is that? Well, just in case you didn't know Denmark has some of the craziest weather, basically a very temperamental winter season that lasts 9 out of the 12 months in a year.
When the thermostat hits 18 degrees Celsius (thats about 66F for you non european folk) you start seeing a lot more skin, dresses get pulled out of the closet and shorts are worn on basically every occasion.
So with that in mind and the rush of excitement that the summer brings, we though we'd share with you the top 5 places we'd like to visit this summer.
5. The Great Wall of China
A 21.000 km man made structure that took 2.000 years and cost over 1 million people their lives and bones to build. How can you not go to see that?
4. Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)
There are way too many reasons why we want to go to Rio, but if we can sum it up in a few works:
Beach, Bodies, Caipirinha's, Feijoada's, Cachaça and of course Samba.
3. Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo)
Yes, the half island in the middle of the caribbean, not to be confused with Puerto Rico. Home to awesome golfing, some of the clearest blue beaches, tasty rum and the oldest city in the "new world." Need more reasons than that?
2. New York City
Does this even surprise you? If this city is not on your list of the top places to visit then you my friend need help. Capitol of the world, where an insult is a complement and a complement is an insult. The city you love to hate, a mistress and your greatest love. Plus it's home to some of the best restaurants and art in the world.
1. Bora Bora
A very small island in the middle of the south pacific, with even smaller bungalows and almost no people. At Sitpack we all agree that if what you're looking for is to completely break away from reality and the responsibilities tied to them...This is the place to go!
Stop fantasizing so much (we include ourselves in that) and go, just go even if it's just to one of these places, and grab your Sitpack cause all that time at the airport with no place to sit...it'll come in handy.
